Donna Voetee is a Doctor of Naturopathy and Counselor of Natural Health. She is the great- granddaughter of Grampa Owen, about whom she knows only two facts: he had lactose intolerance, and he drove his black buggy around the backwoods of Little Rock, Arkansas, ministering to the folks’ health needs and more often than not, getting paid with chickens or fresh bread or moonshine. She prays daily that the Owen’s and Landers’ family trees do not intertwine at any place whatsoever with the Clintons’.
She has had focused training in diabetes with Weimar Institute and in women’s hormones and adrenal physiology with Dr. William Timmins and Dr. Elizabeth Plourde. Dr. Timmins is the health pioneer who insisted that saliva tests were more indicative of available hormone levels than the blood tests that were protocol. Now, reputable labs use saliva tests to determine hormone status. She is honored to have sat at his feet and learned from him directly.
Dr. Donna has been a beautician, ham radio operator, literacy teacher, homeschool mom and Independent Study Program facilitator, former health store owner, and author of books on grammar, politics, and health. She takes no heed to the admonition that one should not profess opinions about others’ politics and food. She goes from preaching to meddling quickly. She was once suspected of being a Pleiadian Light Worker, but protested on the grounds that she had never even been to Pleiadia.
Today she is a Granny of four, and still writes and teaches, having forsaken the ham radio (she does no pork) and all hopes of ever cutting ladies’ hair just the way they like it.
Through her alter ego “Granny Good Food” at the social media Facebook, she teaches parents to feed their children REAL FOOD for LIFE, tries to create recipes for healthy food that people will actually eat, and often draws the ire of the Facebook censors for her outspokenness in all things allopathic. Besides Michael, her steadfast groom of 40 years, her heroes are Dr. Weston A. Price and Dr. Francis Pottenger, who proved to us over seventy years ago that health is generational, and we must feed our children right if we are to survive as a society.
Dr. Donna offers grocery store tours, group classes, and personal counseling. Her focus is on women’s and children’s health. She is the creator and author of a series of six books, Supermarket Survival. She’s a contributing author to Dr. Laura Thompson’s book, Smart Food Smart Families. (She suggested a comma between the phrases but was not heeded.) Her health articles have been published both online and in real print: NewsWithViews, Crusador Magazine, The Idaho Observer, and last but not least, that great literary journal, The Taos Horsefly.
Dr. Donna would like nothing better than to thoroughly destroy any iota of trust you have in pharmaceutical drugs, vaccines, fluoride, margarine, and Diet Coke. Please give her a call to arrange a time to be blessed. 512 398-5525 PO Box 57 Lockhart, Texas 78644 firstname.lastname@example.org
